Most students enrolled in graduate education at Coleman College are working professionals.
The goal of the graduate division is to increase the probability of the students' advancement
to greater responsibility and authority within their professions. The minimum requirement
for admission to the Master of Science Systems Management major is:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science from an accredited institution, or
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline and four years of experience in the computer field, or
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline and completion of Coleman College's undergraduate core program in any of the three information technology disciplines at Coleman College.
To request an application for admission, please e-mail your name, address, day and evening phone
numbers to the Graduate Admissions Office at Coleman College. Please indicate that you are
interested in the graduate program. If you prefer, you may request an application by telephoning
the Graduate Admissions Office at (858) 499-0202.
Submit application to the Graduate Admissions Office, 8888 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123-1506 at
least 5 weeks prior to the class start date requested. A 200-word description of your goals, three
letters of reference and a non-refundable application fee of $100 must be included.
Request that official transcripts from all colleges previously attended (unless already on file at Coleman)
be forwarded to the Graduate Admissions Office at the above address.
Requests for evaluation of previous coursework for transfer to Coleman College are made to the Student
Services Department. Evaluation requests are granted once Coleman College has received official copies of
your transcripts. Acceptable course units transfer but grades do not. If you would like to have your
transfer credit evaluated before you decide whether or not you will attend Coleman College, please
express this interest to your Admissions Officer.
