If you are unfamiliar with Linkedin or just have an account and have no clue what to do with it, read on. I have been actively using a Linkedin account for two years. It is one of the most important social media accounts you could ever own. Linkedin is a portal just waiting to be utilized by you. It could lead to a potential job, establishing business connections, and building your personal brand in a more positive light. So set yourself up for success by constantly updating your profile, endorsing others, and adding connections.
Here are some Dos and Don’ts to Using a Linkedin:
DON‘T spam people you don’t know with requests to connect.
DO follow up on in-person meetings with a LinkedIn request.
DON‘T lie on your profile.
DO list your achievements (even the small ones).
DO tell people about yourself.
