The Network Security program is designed to prepare students for careers in computer and network security, and to deal with the challenges specific to this area. Areas of emphasis include fundamental security measures necessary in modern business, performing the basic functions of a PC/Network Support Technician, and installation/configuration of hardware and software infrastructure to support a local area network.
Graduates of this program have a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, programming concepts, and network administration with a primary emphasis on network security.
