"Our Financial Aid Advisors are available on a walk-in and on an appointment basis to provide
individual counseling to students who apply for financial aid"
The Financial Aid Office coordinates federal, state, institutional, and private financial assistance
programs. Students who intend to request financial assistance are expected to arrange an appointment
with a financial aid advisor as soon as registration has been completed. Financial Aid Advisors are
available on a walk-in and on an appointment basis to provide individual counseling to students who
apply for financial aid.
To apply for all types of federal grants and loans, as well as the California State Grant,
students must complete a FAFSA each award year (July to June). The annual application period
is January until March. The Financial Aid Office at Coleman University can help you with
the application process.
Please contact the Financial Aid office for more information. Students may also complete the
FAFSA online. (Please include Coleman's school code 009273)
Entrance Loan Counseling, Authorization Statement and Loan Comparison and Pre Approval
All students who borrow a Federal Stafford loan must complete Entrance Counseling. All applicants are required to complete a Student Authorization Statement. If you are a dependent student, your parent must also complete the Parent Authorization Statement.
Choosing a lender is an important decision, one that will affect you for the life of your loan. If you have prior loans we recommend you remain with the same lender. If you have no prior Stafford Loans, we recommend you borrow from one of the lenders listed
