Library Catalogs
Search locally for your research materials. There are several libraries that you can use in San Diego County and all of them have their catalogs available online. If you find something you would like to borrow that we don’t currently have, please submit an inter-library loan request. There are no guarantees with inter-library loan, but your library staff will make every effort to accommodate your request.
This is our library catalog. Search for materials available at either San Diego or San Marcos campuses. (login is your 5-digit student ID number). The library catalog interface includes links to several useful websites and the ability to chat live with a member of the library staff, when available.
Outside Library Catalogs
A San Diego Public Library card will give you access to scholarly journals through several online databases. The staff at Coleman University library highly recommends that you obtain a San Diego Public Library card if you have not already done so. Click hereto submit an application for a temporary library card that will give you access to all of SDPL’s online databases. This card is only good for 14 days and is not renewable.

Search for books and periodicals in all participating surrounding area libraries. If you find what you are looking for, you may be able to request it through interlibrary loan. See your library staff for details. Not all libraries participate in WorldCat.
