Library resources are available to Coleman University library patrons both on-campus and via the Internet. The services of a professional librarian are also available to the Coleman University community. The library’s overall resources cover the arts, humanities, social sciences, and general sciences with special emphasis on information sciences and business. The librarian provides research services via email, chat, telephone and in-person. Instructors must fill out the Research Assistance Request Form for librarian assistance in their scholarship research.
Students may request materials from other libraries through our interlibrary loan services. The various library materials (print) collections are located and shelved in the areas / fields of study, such as the graduate and undergraduate, computer programming, networking and computer security collections. The library subscribes to a number of full-text databases to provide students and faculty with the content and support for research and scholarly activities. These and other online reference materials and resources are made available to students and faculty both on-and off-campus via the Coleman University computer network and the Internet.
A Library Orientation Guide is issued to students, faculty, and staff as needed. Some classes include trips to the library or in-class visits for an orientation with the librarian.
